Shu Uemura have revamped their 1Utama boutique, turning it into a concept store that’s reminiscent of what you’ll find in Tokyo. The updated look has an electric vibe and younger feel, and we’re looking forward to seeing this makeover take over the rest of their boutiques in the coming years.

The Top 10 list for all 10 categories of The Bar Awards is now out, and we can’t wait to see who takes home those barrels at the end of the month.
BCWA’s Refreshing Partnership with Chill Chill
Throughout October, Chill Chill will be participating in Breast Cancer Awareness Month by donating RM1 from the sale of each Nom Yen (rose milk drink) will go to the Breast Cancer Welfare Association (BCWA) of Malaysia. Chill Chill will also be contributing RM0.50 to BCWA for each valid use of the hashtag #pinktobermy throughout the month.

H&M Opens its First Store in Genting Highlands
On the 5th of October, fashion retailer H&M will open its first store in Genting Highlands. The new SkyAvenue Shopping Mall location has attractive offers up for grabs on opening day. Tote bags will be up for grabs for the first 200 customers in line, and you’ll be treated to a chance to win RM500 gift vouchers in a lucky draw. The first 50 shoppers in line will also receive RM50 shopping vouchers.
Flavours of Mexico is Back for the 4th Year in Malaysia
From 9-13 October, we’ll get a taste of South American cuisine with Flavours of Mexico IV. Some of our favourite restaurants will be participating this year, including The Ritz-Carlton Hotel, La Boca Latino Bar, Fresca Mexican Kitchen & Bar, Casa Latina, El Maiz Restaurant, YTL College, and Taylor’s University.
For the duration of the festival, diners will enjoy a curated menu and special promotions. Tequila will also be the pairing of choice, and a representative from Consejo Regulador del Tequila will be at Sentidos.
We’re also keen to see the first Mexican-Malaysian fusion dish that Datuk Chef Wan has to offer!
