A desert safari is all about enjoying the beautiful dunes of Dubai from the seat of a heavy duty Landcruiser.

And, once you’ve reached your safari hut via Landcruiser, what awaits you is a day of camel rides, selfies with falcons, exotic belly dance shows and the opportunity to feast on local cuisine. For a more authentic Middle Eastern experience, try some henna body painting or indulge in some traditional sheesha.

2. To The Top, Burj Khalifa:

As one of the tallest buildings in the world, the Burj Khalifa presents a stunning vista from its summit. The tower stands at 829.8 m and the best time to reach the peak is at sunset. That said, whatever the time of day, it’s still a view to remember.

Depending on season and time of day, allow for at least an hour and half to complete the tower tour.

The Burj Khalifa is extremely popular with visitors year round so do book tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.

3. Dubai Fountains at Dubai Mall:

Situated beneath the Burj Khalifa is the Dubai Mall. As Dubai’s premier mall, it is arguably the best and biggest shopping adventure you’ll experience in this modern, international city.

The landmark at the mall that is worth making some time for are the Dubai Fountains.

The Dubai Fountains host a dancing water show daily where the water jets are spectacularly timed to music and, at their maximum, dance to a peak height of 140m.

 

4. Dubai Museum and Al Fahidi Fort:

An historical gem, this is one of the oldest and most underrated places in Dubai and a must-see if you want to learn more about the culture and history of this amazing desert city.

The museum is situated at Dubai Creek.

5. Atlantis Water Park:

Dubai’s climate is generally hot all year round and the Atlantic Water Park is the best way to cool down.

With an abundance of thrilling water rides and activities such as stingray feeding, swimming with dolphins, or zip lining, there is something here for every member of the family.

The park is the perfect opportunity to spend a hot day in a very cool way but enter the Atlantic Water Park early to maximise a full day of water themed fun.

6. Ibn Battuta Mall:

Ibn Battuta Mall is one of the most beautiful themed malls in Dubai. The mall was designed with a travel concept in mind, with pavilions showcasing various global destinations in detail. Everything from the floor to the ceilings are decorated to theme.

Have your camera ready, it is definitely an Instagram-worthy place!

 

7. Ski Dubai:

Ski Dubai is an indoor snow park and mountain-themed attraction. The park features an innovative, snow-covered slope and is perfect for those in search of a near-genuine skiing experience.

8. Dhow Cruise Dubai Marina:

If you’re a fan of beautiful scenery, then this is for you! Dubai Marina is one of the best-established modern districts in Dubai with a wide range of restaurants, shopping malls, and more.

Take a cruise to enjoy the spectacular view. There are plenty of cruises to choose from. You can even enjoy your dinner while sailing along the harbour.

9. Afternoon tea at the Burj Al Arab:

This is the priciest and most luxurious afternoon tea in Dubai but for pure indulgence, it is worth every penny. The Burj Al Arab is a 7 Star hotel and is one of the most beautiful hotels in the world.

10. Madinat Jumeirah:

A local-favourite, Madinat Jumeirah is a luxurious, 5-star hotel with an Arabian touch.

It is said that it is one of the most beautiful places to Visit in Dubai – and that’s quite a claim in this city of many wonders.

Go for the Abra (boat) ride and take a tour of the resort. Shop around in the souks. There’s an amazing variety of restaurants and bars to end your night and to cap off a memorable trip!
